Feedback from Russia :
We decided to write one feedback because all students have same opinion. It was great work in GVC! Before this we never knew people from abroad (our city is far away from other countries).
We learnt much about partners. They are talented. Mexican students draw well and can do beautiful pages. American students are very excellent in flash and they can work with music.
We liked to do everything that we did! We want to work with these partners next year.

Feedback from teachers

It has been a pleasure to work on the GVC 05-02 team this year with Russia and Mexico. My students have enjoyed the interaction of the project through NiceNet and the theme of the web site- A World of Tales. Many students commented that they just loved GVC this year because of our partner schools. Different from years past, our partner schools have actually participated and carried through with a plan and the decisions that have been mutually agreed upon. My students really enjoyed learning new programs such as FLASH, DREAMWEAVER, FIREWORKS, and GARAGEBAND. Many of these students spent their lunch hours and after school free time to participate in GVC because it was so worthwhile- one
student even visited a middle school in our district to learn more about FLASH. I personally have enjoyed learning more about the programs stated above, and have learned side-by-side with my students. I have also gone out of my way to attend workshops and classes on web applications and it has helped me to be a better teacher. My students- as a whole- met for the last time yesterday and were amazed at what they accomplished this year in GVC. As one of my students said, "this is the best project I have ever worked on."

So what has GVC been like this year? Well I consider it a very enriching experience that has helped me to reach out and know people around the world. It has restored my faith in humanity knowing that there are people out there who are responsible, planning to the last detail; trustworthy, doing their share of the work; thoughtful, get to know the character of the persons through daily contact and have become very dear friends.
My students are happy about the results and have learned many new things. Thanks to GVC for providing us with the challenges to make an exciting school year.!!

It has been good working with GVC this year. This is my third year in the contest and getting to know people from Mexico and USA has broadened the horizons of my students.
My students were delighted with the main topic and worked very hard to include what they learned from their team friends. Sharing tales, sports, schools, talents, etc they formed a better opinion of the respective countries. This year my team was perfect, it is my ideal of a successful work in GVC. All countries participated equally actively. We planed the whole work from the first days of the contest and started to carry out immediately. My students worked on GVC mainly as extra curriculum activity and with one computer only. They had to come before classes or stay after to communicate and do their part of the work but they had a great fun, because they saw that partners were working hard too.
