Christmas is a holiday celebrating the birth of Jesus. It is celebrated on December 25th in the USA and Mexico. The Christmas colors are red and green. Santa Claus and reindeer really have nothing to do with the real reason Christmas is Christmas. The presents symbolize the presents that the three wise men gave to the baby Jesus.
The story of Christmas is about Mary and Joseph traveling to Bethlehem to follow a decree that was announced by the ruler of that time. Jesus was born in a stable because no inns had any room. So basically, Christmas is a Christian holiday celebrating Jesus's birthday. Merry Christmas!

In Russia Christmas is celebrated on 7th January. People go to the church on the Christmas Eve. People celebrate this holiday with families.
