Hanukkah

I interviewed Scott, who celebrates Hanukkah. I asked him, "What do you do on Hanukkah?" He said that each night he says lights candles, says blessings, and sings songs. He also gets a present each night. Next, I asked, "How many days does it last?" He said that it lasts for eight days. Finally, I inquired, "What kind of food do you eat?" He told me that a special Hanukkah food is latkes, which are potato pancakes. As dessert, he eats gelt, which are chocolate coins.
As you can see, Hanukkah is a very interesting holiday. It's nice to learn things about holidays other than Christmas. Since I do not celebrate Hanukkah myself, I had to do some research. If you are Jewish, then you probably celebrate Hanukkah as part of your religion. Jews believe that their savior has not come yet; they are still waiting. But Christians believe that their savior did come, and is known as Jesus. Everybody believes in different things; that's what makes us so unique. Happy Hanukkah!
