School events and celebrations
We have parties or you can call them celebrations, Lunada, A.I.M week and Children’s Day.
The Lunada is night in English and it is celebrated during the month of October. The Lunada’s name is: during the moon that’s why we do it at night. We have games, musical entertainment by the students, house of terror, and it’s really fun!
AIM Week is celebrated the last week of April. We go over all that has been accomplished during the year, sports, math counts, contests of English and Spanish, art, technology, science and each grade level has to prepare something to perform during the first two class periods. Normally two levels perform the same day.
Children’s Day which is celebrated on April 30th we have games, marriages, karaoke, inflatable, lollipops, food, etc and it always celebrated the last day of AIM Week. We decorate our school because of AIM week and have a winner for the best.
