Paul Bunyan
(American legend)
Paul Bunyan was born July 4th at 6:23 in the morning. He was a rather large baby, as a matter of fact he was 156 pounds. From the minute he was born he was interested in the logging business. Every one
got so tired of him that his parents had to anchor him in his crib on the water until he started rocking his crib to make a giant tidal wave. The town then forced them to leave to the forest to live there. One morning in the winter he was taking a walk when he came across a great big blue ox and called it Babe. Both the ox and Paul grew at an enormous rate. Paul started a lumber company with the famous lumber jacks when he was 17, he was taller than the trees. In the lumber business, he cleared the midwest forest to build houses. When they started getting hungry they built a giant pancake river. They needed water so he dug the Great Lakes and the St. Lawrence River. After they ate some more pancakes they had enough energy to make the Great Plains and the Rocky Mountains. Then a blizzard came and it stayed for many years. Babe got hungry so they decided to make him glasses so when he put them on the snow looked like grass and he ate all the snow. The blizzard was over so everyone celebrated. As they headed south west they had a problem with the heat and the Texas varmints. Crossing Arizona the griddle curled up. Depressed, Paul dragged his ax, making the Grand Canyon. Before he disappeared he made the 10,000 lakes of Minnesota.
Then he disappeared forever.
